Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,665.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michele di Matteo da Bologna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Female Saint, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 44,100.00 (€ 37,863.83).
