Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Hexagramme 11 TAI, La paix by Michel Seuphor. The price achieved of EUR 140.80 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Seuphor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition No. 8 in November 2004 with an auction result of EUR 28,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hexagramme 11 TAI, La paix von Michel Seuphor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 140,80 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Seuphor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition No. 8 im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.680,00.
