In January 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART, which included the work Untitled (Two Figures) by Michel Nedjar. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,314.50 (€ 1,224.04), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Nedjar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chairdâme (Lot Of 31 Puppets) in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 113,400.00.

Im Januar 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Two Figures) von Michel Nedjar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.314,50 (€ 1.224,04) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Nedjar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chairdâme (Lot Of 31 Puppets) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 113.400,00.
