Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2003 Christies in New York held the auction 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART, which included the work Untitled and Untitled by Michel Nedjar. The price achieved of USD 7,767.50 (€ 7,232.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Nedjar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chairdâme (Lot Of 31 Puppets) in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 113,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 20TH CENTURY SELF-TAUGHT AND OUTSIDER ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled and Untitled von Michel Nedjar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.767,50 (€ 7.232,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Nedjar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chairdâme (Lot Of 31 Puppets) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 113.400,00.
