Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Darius), 1997 by Michel Nedjar for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,133.09). This price was achieved in the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Nedjar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chairdâme (Lot Of 31 Puppets) in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 113,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Darius), 1997 von Michel Nedjar für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.133,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Nedjar erzielen.
