Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work Tracks in the snow by Michel Guermacheff. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,573.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Guermacheff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Lake Landscape, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,022.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tracks in the snow von Michel Guermacheff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.573,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Guermacheff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Lake Landscape beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.022,85) versteigert wurde.
