Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michel Macréau could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Purism and Beyond: A Modern Collection auction, the work Tête changed hands for EUR 8,820.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Macréau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tatouage Sur Le Sorcier - 1961 in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 143,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Macréau konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Purism and Beyond: A Modern Collection wechselte die Arbeit Tête für EUR 8.820,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michel Macréau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tatouage Sur Le Sorcier - 1961 im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 143.000,00.
