In May 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work Roses, tulips and other flowers on a sculpted plinth, with a nest and peaches and grapes in a wicker basket by Michel Joseph Speeckaert. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,459.56), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Michel Joseph Speeckaert have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,419.61) in January 2010 for the work Still Life With Roses And Baby Chicks.

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roses, tulips and other flowers on a sculpted plinth, with a nest and peaches and grapes in a wicker basket von Michel Joseph Speeckaert zur Versteigerung kam.
