This artwork by Michel Joseph Speeckaert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A hunter's prize sold for EUR 3,107.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Michel Joseph Speeckaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Roses And Baby Chicks in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,419.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Joseph Speeckaert erzielte im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit A hunter's prize für EUR 3.107,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Joseph Speeckaert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Roses And Baby Chicks im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.419,61).
