Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled Construction by Michel Guino for USD 500.00 (€ 441.58). This price was achieved in the auction Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michel Guino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Table in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 4,463.00.
