In May last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction European Fine Living, which included the work La voiture du laitier by Michel Delacroix. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,257.76), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Michel Delacroix; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La place du marché à Tübingen sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of USD 19,125.00 (€ 17,822.20).

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion European Fine Living durch, in der auch die Arbeit La voiture du laitier von Michel Delacroix zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.257,76) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Michel Delacroix; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La place du marché à Tübingen im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 19.125,00 (€ 17.822,20).
