Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Poppies, a rose, a tulip and other flowers in a low vase with flowers in a roemer on a stone ledge with a relief and curtains by Michel Bouillon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,460.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Bouillon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione di frutta su tavola ricoperta da drappo rosso, basamento con conchiglie; in primo piano limoni e arancia, which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poppies, a rose, a tulip and other flowers in a low vase with flowers in a roemer on a stone ledge with a relief and curtains von Michel Bouillon zur Versteigerung kam.
