Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michel Bouillon could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Still Life With Peaches, Redcurrants, Whitecurrants, Hazelnuts And A Glass, Arranged On A Stone Ledge changed hands for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,766.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Bouillon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione di frutta su tavola ricoperta da drappo rosso, basamento con conchiglie; in primo piano limoni e arancia, which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 20,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michel Bouillon konnte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Peaches, Redcurrants, Whitecurrants, Hazelnuts And A Glass, Arranged On A Stone Ledge für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.766,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
