In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work The Coat of Arms of France And Navarre, Surrounded With The Order of Saint Michel, Supported By Fame, Glory And Two Putti by Michel II Corneille. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,600.00 (€ 22,836.57), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel II Corneille - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Présentation Au Temple, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 75,787.00.

Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Coat of Arms of France And Navarre, Surrounded With The Order of Saint Michel, Supported By Fame, Glory And Two Putti von Michel II Corneille zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 22.836,57) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel II Corneille mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Présentation Au Temple beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 75.787,00 versteigert wurde.
