In the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Four head studies of women and young men, an additional fainter profile of a head at lower left sold for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,041.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michel II Corneille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Présentation Au Temple in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 75,787.00.
