A top price for Mikhail Grobman - as previously expected
The work A Tribute to Lena Katz by Mikhail Grobman was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,407.50 (€ 3,785.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Tribute to Lena Katz is the most expensive artwork by Mikhail Grobman that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit A Tribute to Lena Katz von Mikhail Grobman kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.407,50 (€ 3.785,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Tribute to Lena Katz das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mikhail Grobman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
