Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Cottage In A Field by Michael Wishart for GBP 180.00 (€ 266.77). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Wishart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Redditch roses in March 2010 with an auction result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,929.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cottage In A Field von Michael Wishart für GBP 180,00 (€ 266,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Wishart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Redditch roses im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.929,54).
