Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Sothebys in London held the auction Marine Art, which included the work Sunlight Through Sails by Michael Vaughan. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,342.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Michael Vaughan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work The Tallship Stavros was auctioned for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,795.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Marine Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunlight Through Sails von Michael Vaughan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.342,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Vaughan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2006 die Arbeit The Tallship Stavros für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.795,23) versteigert.
