This artwork by Michael Rothenstein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2007. In the Prints auction, the work Red Leaves (Sidey 375) sold for GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,602.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Rothenstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White House in May last year with an auction result of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,787.24).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Rothenstein erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints wurde die Arbeit Red Leaves (Sidey 375) für GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.602,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Rothenstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The White House im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.787,24).
