Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Night Angel by Michael Mogavero for USD 239.00 (€ 198.64). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Mogavero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Face It in May last year with an auction result of USD 11,970.00 (€ 11,154.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Night Angel von Michael Mogavero für USD 239,00 (€ 198,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Mogavero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Face It im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 11.154,60).
