Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Space Exploration, which included the work "Edward White At 17,500 Mph Over Gulf Of Mexico, Photographed By Astronaut James Mcdivitt, Gemini 4, 1965", 1999 by Michael Light. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,207.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Michael Light have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Composite of Harrison Schmitt and the Lunar Rover at "Split Rock", Photographed by Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17, December 7-19, 1972 from Full Moon was auctioned for GBP 3,375.00 (€ 4,033.12).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.207,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
