The work Thinking (What? We: Want! Series) by Michael Lau was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 113,400.00 (€ 11,961.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Lau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tolerant (Package - Change Series) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30).

Die Arbeit Thinking (What? We: Want! Series) von Michael Lau kam im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 11.961,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Lau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tolerant (Package - Change Series) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30).
