Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work MAXX - gardener series by Michael Lau was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 114,750.00 (€ 13,623.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Lau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tolerant (Package - Change Series) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 257,341.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit MAXX - gardener series von Michael Lau kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 114.750,00 (€ 13.623,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Lau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tolerant (Package - Change Series) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 257.341,30).
