Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Kenny could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Twentieth Century British Art auction, the work Cladh Maolrithe changed hands for GBP 587.50 (€ 901.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Kenny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Construction, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 1,912.00 (€ 2,122.53).
