In November 2002 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Under and Over by Michael Johnson. Other works by Michael Johnson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 66,000.00 (€ 39,758.17) in November 2007 for the work Australian Yellow Ochre.
