Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work A leopard with her cubs by Michael Jackson for GBP 597.50 (€ 889.26). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Michael Jackson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peacock in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,145.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A leopard with her cubs von Michael Jackson für GBP 597,50 (€ 889,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Jackson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peacock im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.145,57).
