Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Portrait of Professor Rabinovitch by Michael Gross. The price achieved of USD 7,050.00 (€ 7,944.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in December 2011 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,551.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2001 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Professor Rabinovitch von Michael Gross zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.050,00 (€ 7.944,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.551,92).
