Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | London, which included the work Out (Working Title) by Michael Dean. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,195.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Dean - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Days (Working Title), which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,253.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Out (Working Title) von Michael Dean zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.195,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Dean mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Days (Working Title) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.253,51) versteigert wurde.
