Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work ‘How About This Play By Another German, Sir Lawrence? A Revolutionary New Concept Which Should Go Down Well With The British!’ by Michael Cummings. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,565.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Michael Cummings have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work From Clement Attlee To John Major, Ten Prime Ministers was auctioned for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,846.39).

A Revolutionary New Concept Which Should Go Down Well With The British!’ von Michael Cummings zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.565,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
