Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Three women and icon from Icons, Idols + Fetishes by Micha Klein. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Micha Klein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Artificial Beauty Series 1th Generation 'Angie', which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,339.67).
