Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Temple In Autumn Mountain by Mi Gengyun was sold in the Grace from Dafengtang Studio - Painting and Calligraphy by Chang Dai-chien and His School auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,514.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mi Gengyun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotus And Bird in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,405.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Temple In Autumn Mountain von Mi Gengyun wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Grace from Dafengtang Studio - Painting and Calligraphy by Chang Dai-chien and His School bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.514,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mi Gengyun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotus And Bird im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.405,56).
