Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Sheep by Menashe Kadishman for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,005.76). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli & International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Menashe Kadishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 70,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sheep von Menashe Kadishman für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.005,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Menashe Kadishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Birds. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.950,00.
