Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Sheep In A Landscape by Menashe Kadishman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,516.89). Admittedly, works by Menashe Kadishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 70,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sheep In A Landscape von Menashe Kadishman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.516,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Menashe Kadishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Birds. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.950,00.
