Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sheep In A Landscape by Menashe Kadishman was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,002.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Menashe Kadishman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 70,950.00.

Die Arbeit Sheep In A Landscape von Menashe Kadishman wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.002,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Menashe Kadishman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Birds. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.950,00.
