Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work 4 Tetes by Menashe Kadishman. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Menashe Kadishman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 70,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 4 Tetes von Menashe Kadishman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Menashe Kadishman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 70.950,00.
