Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mehmet Güleryüz was sold in the Contemporary Art/ Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,038.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mehmet Güleryüz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Iki Yaka (The Two Banks) in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 119,274.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mehmet Güleryüz wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.038,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mehmet Güleryüz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Iki Yaka (The Two Banks) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 119.274,42).
