Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Medardo Rosso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2009. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Parco Con Fontana sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Medardo Rosso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Enfant Juif in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 476,973.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Medardo Rosso erzielte im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Parco Con Fontana für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Medardo Rosso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Enfant Juif im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 476.973,83).
