Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "That's far enough..." by Mead Schaeffer was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,497.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mead Schaeffer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Closed! Frieder, do you realize what that means..." in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 55,000.00 (€ 46,226.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "That's far enough..." von Mead Schaeffer kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.497,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mead Schaeffer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Closed! Frieder, do you realize what that means..." im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 55.000,00 (€ 46.226,26).
