Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Little Flying Owl by Mayuka Yamamoto. The price achieved of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 33,522.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 220,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mayuka Yamamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Penguin Boy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Flying Owl von Mayuka Yamamoto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 33.522,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 220.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mayuka Yamamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Penguin Boy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
