Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lighting Sculpture Sculpture Lumineuse by Maxime Descombin was sold in the Important Design auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Maxime Descombin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Double Sided Sideboard Le Pivotant [Meuble Double Face Dit Le Pivotant|AID325394] was auctioned for EUR 8,125.00.
