In June 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Important Design, which included the work Lighting Column With Four Rotating Lights Colonne Lumineuse À Quatre Feux Rotatifs by Maxime Descombin. The price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Maxime Descombin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2020 the work Double Sided Sideboard Le Pivotant [Meuble Double Face Dit Le Pivotant|AID325394] was auctioned for EUR 8,125.00.
