Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Parade, 1966 by Max von Moos was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2018. The price achieved of CHF 10,000.00 (€ 8,877.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max von Moos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Versteinerte Musikanten Petrified Musicians in November 2007 with an auction result of CHF 77,800.00 (€ 46,924.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Parade, 1966 von Max von Moos kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 10.000,00 (€ 8.877,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max von Moos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Versteinerte Musikanten Petrified Musicians im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 77.800,00 (€ 46.924,71).
