Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cie De Navigation Paquet Par Marseille by Max Ponty was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,429.38). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Ponty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chamonix, which sold at auction in January 2012 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,319.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cie De Navigation Paquet Par Marseille von Max Ponty kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.429,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Ponty mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chamonix beobachtet, die im Januar 2012 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.319,05) versteigert wurde.
