Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work L'Oiseau, 1967 by Max Papart. The price achieved of EUR 1,030.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Papart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Musiciens in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 41,301.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Oiseau, 1967 von Max Papart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.030,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Papart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Musiciens im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 41.301,47).
