Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Couple en jaune et bleu" by Max Papart was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 8,140.92). Admittedly, works by Max Papart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Musiciens in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 59,375.00 (€ 41,301.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Couple en jaune et bleu" von Max Papart im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 8.140,92) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Papart auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Musiciens im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 59.375,00 (€ 41.301,47).
