A top price for Max Liu
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Unknown by Max Liu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,186.22), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Unknown is even the most expensive work of art by Max Liu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Max Liu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.186,22) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Unknown sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Max Liu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
