Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Self-Portrait With A Guitar by Mauro Gandolfi for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,925.78). This price was achieved in the auction Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mauro Gandolfi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori, which sold at auction in January 2016 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,159.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Self-Portrait With A Guitar von Mauro Gandolfi für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.925,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mauro Gandolfi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 46.159,53) versteigert wurde.
