Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A study of three male heads by Mauro Gandolfi was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 28,014.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mauro Gandolfi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2016 the work Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori was auctioned for USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,159.53).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 28.014,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
