Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,729.34), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mauro Gandolfi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,159.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Study Of Heads von Mauro Gandolfi wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Old Masters Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.729,34) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Gandolfi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 46.159,53).
