Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Head Of A Man, With A Moustache, Turned Left by Mauro Gandolfi was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,970.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mauro Gandolfi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Judith With The Head Of Holofernes, After Cristofano Allori in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 46,159.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Head Of A Man, With A Moustache, Turned Left von Mauro Gandolfi wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.970,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mauro Gandolfi erzielen.
